Medellin: fashion, business and adventure tourism
The city of Medellin is the second largest in Colombia, not only due to its commercial and industrial activity, but also for its cultural wealth and night life. It has approximately 2.7 million inhabitants and it is the capital of the Department of Antioquia.

One of the main tourist attractions in Medellin is the colorful “Flowers Fair” (Feria de las Flores), as few places in the world have such an enormous variety of flowers. In addition to the fair, Medellin has many spaces and architecture recognized as cultural heritage. It is also a destination for fashion as it is home to Colombia's Fashion Week (Semana de la Moda de Colombia). Medellin also has something for the adventurous travelers, allowing them to admire the immense biodiversity of the region in many different ways. Some of these are: canopy, rock climbing, windsurfing, rafting, and kayaking, among others. All of these reasons and more make this productive and cosmopolitan city an attractive destination for tourism and conventions.
